CHOOSE WHO WILL HELP YOU INTO YOUR DRESS
Have whoever is going to help you into your wedding gown, jewelry and veil, get dressed before you. It doesn't have to be only one person. Having a cohesive look will not only look good in photographs but look great in your wedding album.

TIDY UP
Make sure your getting ready area is clean of bags, luggage, empty beer bottles, water bottles etc.. this will save time and make for better photographs.

SUNSCREEN
If you plan on tanning or being in the sun just days prior to your wedding, use lots of sunscreen. You will want to avoid tan-lines, redness, peeling and being swollen the day of, because that's no fun.

HAIR & MAKEUP TRIALS
Professional hair and make up is a must. When getting your makeup done, for most natural results, you should always blend your foundation all the way down your neck.

BUSTLING YOUR DRESS
Having your Maid of Honor (or whoever will be bustling your dress) practice bustling your dress before your big day. It will save time.
6
ENJOY YOURSELVES
Try to make all of your payments before the wedding day. One less thing on your mind just means more enjoyment for you!
7
HAVE AN ITINERARY
Keep your bridal party and family members in the loop. I recommend sending out an “itinerary” the week of the wedding containing important times and places for them to know about.
8
MODERATE ALCOHOL
Moderate the intake of alcohol before the ceremony. (yes, that’s me in the photo, I don’t actually drink on your wedding day but I do like to enjoy some laughs.)
9
DON'T SWEAT THE SMALL THINGS
No matter how much planning time you put in, things are going to happen on your wedding day that are out of your control. Stay mindful and focus on the reasons you’re getting married and enjoy the day before it’s over. Trust us - no one will remember that the flowers weren’t a perfect shade of pink, or that venues curtains didn’t quite match your color scheme.
